Применение названия Chenopodium giganteum сейчас весьма проблемно, в частности, из-за конфликтных лектотипификации и эпитипификации (см. недавние публикации Mosyakin & Mandák в Taxon и УБЖ: https://doi.org/10.12705/676.28; https://doi.org/10.15407/ukrbotj77.06.413)".
