По моим наблюдениям цветущий остролодочник - основной источник нектара и пыльцы для фуражирующих шмелей в горной прибрежной тундре Мурмана в начале периода весенне-цветущих растений. Потом к нему в компанию добавляется цветущий дудник. А вот за пыльцой шмели летают в основном на цветущие ивы.
