Приводится два варианта авторства этого таксона - "Willd. ex Roem. & Schult." и просто "Willd.". Как корректнее?

На мой взгляд, правильнее будет "Willd. ex Roem. & Schult.".

Согласно Sandra Knapp. A revision of the Dulcamaroid Clade of Solanum L. (Solanaceae) в POWO, Tropicos Solanum persicum Willd. ex Roem. & Schult. признан синонимом Solanum dulcamara L.
