На фото с нижней частью побега хорошо видно, что стебель буроватый и с мельчайшей шероховатостью (железистостью!). Старые флористы-систематики определяли такие растения из Жигулей как E. meyeri (видел такие определения в LE, например определение Н.Н. Цвелёва). Но, пожалуй, Жигулёвские от казахстанских растений вполне отличаются. Растения из Жигулей недавно описаны как E. saksonovii Vassjukov
